Vocational Skills Training - Assessment Supervision (4199)


The aim of this practical 3 hour Assessment Supervision Workshop is to equip VET teachers with the knowledge of their roles and responsibilities as teachers and assessors. This includes the way in which they document the evidence required to demonstrate the currency of their trainer/assessor skills and the retention of students' completed assessment items.


 Workshop Outcomes:-

 - Define the roles and responsibilities of VET Sector trainers and assessors

 - Outline and document the evidence required to demonstrate the currency of trainer / assessor skills

 - Explain what is "supervision"

 - Explain ASQA's requirements for training and assessing under supervision

 - Review samples of documents that could be used for supervision

 - Provide an overview of evidence retention requirements for students completed assessment items
