P-2 Digital Technologies - An Integrated approach to the Digital Technologies Curriculum in the Early Years (6563)

Description

The ACT Education Directorates Academy of Future Skills is comprised of experienced STEM educational leaders offering support, resources and professional learning. During this workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding of ICT capabilities and Digital Technologies key concepts in relation to the K-2 Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework. You will experience a range of hands-on investigations and activities using a variety of plugged and unplugged resources. This will equip you with an understanding of how best to develop students' knowledge and skills, focusing how to align and integrate digital technology outcomes within multidisciplinary units. All equipment used in the workshop is available for public schools to borrow for use in your classroom. An on-line session will be offered to participants to follow up and share ideas. Note: this PL is targeted towards teachers from P-2
